The NASA has showcased the stunning dark nebula officially cataloged as SH2-63 and LBN 86 in the ‘Astronomy Picture of the Day‘.

This nebula, nicknamed the Stingray Nebula due to its distinctive shape, is composed of gas and dust in light brown hues.

The image, highlighted by NASA, was captured by Vikas Chander over a span of 20 hours of exposure under the dark skies of Chile.
